UW-Milwaukee Photographs Collection, 1890-2003.

Photographs, negatives, and slides, usually taken by UW-Milwaukee Photographic Services staff or outside professional photographers. A smaller number of the photographs were taken by staff of the Echo Weekly (1919-1951), Wisconsin State Times (1951-1956), and the UWM Post (1956-present). The images, mostly in black and white, document the administration, student activities, athletic competitions, buildings, and other activities of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and its predecessor institutions.
